The jury in the murder trial of former Mountie Kevin Gregson is now deliberating. Justice Douglas Rutherford completed his charge to the jury Tuesday morning.
They are now deciding whether Gregson is guilty of first-degree murder, or whether they believe that he killed Ottawa police Const. Eric Czapnik, "but didn't murder him."
Rutherford's charge Tuesday included a detailed explanation of the law - specifically the aspects that elevate culpable homicide to first-degree murder.
